The Dundee Secondary Matric Farewell

August the 15th saw a evening of flashy gowns, tuxes, cars and loud bangs from the modified exhaust pipes, as the Dundee Secondary Matriculants made their way to the prom. The prom was held at the popular Majestic Hall at the old show grounds. The excitement as cars were revving and loud bangs from some exhaust pipes, got some local residents spreading the rumor of drag racing and gun shots.
Stunts That Got The Crowd Cheering
The event carried on well into the night without any incidents reported. The prom was followed by the ML Sultan's in Friday and the Thalana High School's will be held on the 22nd of August.

Guard Of Honour: By Well Wishers

DSS saw an 80% pass in 2012 and that number is expected to rise this year as matriculants showed signs of wanting to top that percentage this year. Extra classes were a regular for this year's matrics, who started attending a week before schools officially opened in January.
